Happy New Year!

January marks the halfway point of the school year and of the LFNY's 75th anniversary celebration. I can easily say that the first half of this year has been tremendously exciting. The two launch events that kicked off the 75th Anniversary were extraordinary, with record turnouts in both cities (over 400 in Paris and over 900 in New York!). Many thanks to my fellow co-chair of the 75th Anniversary Committee, Donna Zilkha, our dedicated Alumni Board as well as the LFNY Development team for their outstanding work in making these events such a great success. I would also like to thank Roger Liwer, in charge of the Alumni Association of the LFNY (AALFNY), who helped spread the word about the two events and was a great addition to the event in Paris. In fact, this has been a very positive period for both the Alumni Board and the AALFNY and as a result, we are currently developing a protocol for a 'rapprochement' between these two important alumni bodies.
